Established in 2014, Window of Hope is a 501C3 organization dedicated to improving the health, education, and well-being of the people of Sierra Leone and other parts of the world. We aim to achieve this goal through the provision of comprehensive, needs-based solutions provided by our compassionate team of volunteers, donors, and supporters.
Our Mission Statement
Promoting the overall well-being of people through human rights education, public health education, general preventive health care, and follow up medical services provided to the communities in Sierra Leone, making life-saving contributions toward providing and maintaining high-quality healthcare, and improving human development to ensure social security for all.
Our Vision Statement
To promote and enhance the well-being of the underprivileged by creating and opening windows of hope that will provide access to human rights resources and provisions.

Biographies

Sorie Ibrahim Koroma
Professional Experience
20+ years of experiences supporting accounting, finance, and audit functions within Non-Profit, University, Energy, Government Agency, and Services industries. Exceptional abilities with complex reconciliations, close, financial and managerial reporting, as well as contracts management.
Major Projects and Accomplishments:
Financial Consultant-Clients include but are not limited to International Business Solutions, Africare, Georgetown University, Silver Ridge Power, Alexandria Redevelopment and Housing Authority, Catholic Charities, EMCOR Government Services, etc. 2013 – Present.

Isatu Jalloh – Vice President
Isatu has 20 years of experience in the nursing profession working as an oncology nurse at Washington Adventist Hospital for 15 years. Currently works as Delegating Nurse/Case manager for nonprofit organizations, Compass Inc., and CSAAC. Isatu is also the CEO/Co-Founder of Sierra Residential Services.

Pamella St. John – Secretary
Professional Experience – 26+ years of experience in Health Care. LPN since 1992, graduated from Arlington Career center at 19 years old. Worked at various Nursing Homes, Doctors Hospital, and several Nursing Agencies for Pediatric and Adults. Currently employed at Kaiser Permanente for 10 years and loving it.
Major Projects and Accomplishments:
- University of DC and Prince George’s College for RN.
- Capscare Academy – graduated December 2018. RN.
- WOLGC – Evangelism team- feeds the homeless, gives out toiletries, as well as gifts to the needy since 2016.
- WOH – since October 2018.

Zainab Bangurah – Dalboyi Development
I am a mother of three young ladies, a healthcare worker of 20+ years and a community activist with a passion for feeding the homeless, in bringing health awareness to women and children, and in providing outreach to my community via social media. I was a Program Director for the Voice of Salone Network. I actively participate in medical missions to Sierra Leone and other outreach programs in our Diaspora communities, as well.

Priscilla Aminu – Treasurer
Priscilla has over 20 years experience in the nursing profession.
Worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Doctors Community Hospital.
- Sergeant in the US Army Reserved. Worked at the Walter Reed Army Medical Hospital. (Honorably Discharged)
- Currently working at Kaiser Permanente.
- Part of a medical team that won the AWOL US award for a humanitarian medical mission trip to Sierra Leone in 2017.

Jemilatu Mansaray
Jemilatu Mansaray is a mother of four children. She has been working in the health care field for over 20 years, participating in charity organizations and also have done charity work to Muslim and non-Muslim communities in the United States and Sierra Leone.
